"Charisse" is part of my "Dancer Series".  The inspiration for the series is my memories of the MGM musicals of the 40's and 50's.  The grace, fluid motion and power of the dance is always in the back of my mind as I work on the sculpture.  Cyd Charisse"s dance in "Singing in thr Rain" inspired this sculpture.
